High-tech mushrooms: yes, it's a thing

In 1979 Pat Walsh brought together his knowledge of mushrooms with high-quality compost and tech to produce the perfect growing conditions - known as satellite growing. And just like that, Walsh Mushrooms was born. Today we source our portobello, chestnut, oyster and shiitake mushrooms from their facility in Evesham, where the mushrooms are grown in temperature-controlled environments before being lovingly hand-picked daily for your recipes.
